The Centre for Jewish Life will be a landmark, inclusive development in the heart of Caulfield, home to Australia’s largest Jewish community. The precinct will incorporate the Mount Scopus Memorial College (Mount Scopus) consolidated campus and will integrate culture, sport, health, wellbeing and civic spaces within a single, secure site open to the broader community.
The Centre will be guided by strong environmental and sustainability principles and will provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to be active, connect and belong. Every space will be designed for everyday community use, with facilities open from 5am until midnight.
The site will attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, promoting healthy lifestyles, connection and belonging. Located within walking distance of a major metro station and in close proximity to the Monash Caulfield campus, the Centre for Jewish Life is uniquely positioned to support lifelong learning and community engagement.
