This project is about building something special for Melbourne’s Jewish community to ensure its continuity and strength, both today and tomorrow.

We are one community with a unique culture, commonality and heart. Caulfield will be our campus, our central and multigenerational gathering place, our spiritual, artistic and educational home.

Centre for Jewish Life

The Centre for Jewish Life will provide ground-breaking facilities and opportunities for the whole community to enjoy.

Incorporating the Mount Scopus College Gandel Campus, as well as a new hub for sport, recreation, the performing arts, culture and education, the Centre will provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to be active, learn, connect and belong.

The Centre’s development will be guided by strong environmental and sustainability principles.

When we talk about ‘l’dor v’dor’ we refer to the critical role each generation plays in shaping the future for generations to come. The move to Caulfield is our generation’s once-in-many-lifetimes opportunity to make an extraordinary impact on Melbourne’s Jewish community, and transform it like never before.
